AN Oldham firm is fast gaining a reputation for stylish interiors and restaurant refits thanks to a window of opportunity landing contracts to fit out contemporary city centre venues.

Leesfield Limited, based in Shaw Road, is already renowned for supplying and installing superior conservatories, windows and doors. But as word of their craftsmanship and the ability to turn design dreams into reality gathers pace, they have been involved in some exciting Manchester and Salford projects.

Leesfield Limited has just finished working on the interior of independent Italian restaurant and pizzeria Vero Moderno based in the regenerational “Vimto Gardens” development, on the Chapel Street corridor, in Salford.

Owner Beppe Piccoli approached Leesfield Limited after work on other Manchester venues caught his eye. He signed up the team to deck out his new restaurant which is part of exciting redevelopment plans centred around the original Vimto site set up by Noel John Nichols in 1910.

They are responsible for Vero Moderno’s ultra urban chic restaurant interior and bar area. Contracts manager Eddy Benedek – who runs Leesfield Limited with wife Vicky – said: “We were contracted by Beppe as he had seen the work we had done on completing a jazz room and new entranceway for Café Istanbul, on Bridge Street. “The building was a complete open retail unit without services and utilities.

We were contracted to supply and install all amenities and design, along with Beppe, the internal layout for this restaurant.” And Beppe couldn’t be happier with the stylish finish which is helping to put his incredibly popular eatery – which is gaining rave reviews – on Manchester’s culinary map. “I am extremely happy and satisfied with Leesfield Limited,” said Beppe. “Eddie and his fantastic team have done a wonderful job with Vero Moderno.

“It wasn’t an easy one as I leased an empty shell unit, so many unforeseen hiccups came along the way but Leesfield were always there for me; from the fit out team to the ladies in the office. They went the extra mile for me and always with a smile. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!”

Leesfield Limited is also in the business of giving humble homes the wow factor and their cutting edge conservatory designs and orangeries are not only adding affordable living space but also increasing the value of your home.

This family-run firm, with over 30 years in the home improvement industry, now boasts a state of the art showroom at 20 Shaw Road, Derker, next door to Bradbury Bathrooms. Stylish, contemporary and a perfect canvas to show off the high standard of products and workmanship you can expect from Leesfield Limited, their business base is the ideal location to call in to and discuss your requirements.

It’s also a great opportunity to experience a “living and breathing” Leesfield construction featuring both conservatory and orangery roofs, underfloor heating, the latest window and door trends and an outside decking area. Eddy has a vast amount of experience in the field and has built up an impressive reputation during his time in the industry in Oldham.

He has a raft of satisfied customers who come back again and again knowing they can trust his products and services. “The showroom has been designed to accentuate our products and show what we’re capable of doing and I think it does that perfectly.

“Everything has been done with consideration from the underfloor heating – which leave off in half of the building so customers can experience the benefits of the system – to the interior decor, which we think complements the fixtures and fittings.”

As well as specialising in PVCU products Leesfield Limited also offers a design and build service. From creating that beautiful outdoor space to sunrooms and kitchens, their team of industry experts can open the doors to your heart’s desire.

Vicky, the firm’s director, oversees the day to day running of the business and offers a warm welcome to existing and potential customers. She’s also on hand to guide and advise clients when it comes to selecting and installing new features for their home.

Eddy’s daughter Chelsea has grown up alongside the industry and is now the firm’s experienced sales manager and first port of call. Not only can you see firsthand how a Leesfield conservatory could look on your home, you can also browse through brochures featuring the latest looks in composite, patio and French doors, windows, fascias and soffits, all of which are supplied by the best manufacturers in the industry.

Leesfield Limited is also proud of its lengthy list of contracts within the trade, including local authorities and housing associations and last year they were contracted to supply and install glass on the roof of Manchester’s Arndale Shopping Centre. The popular Salt Cellar restaurant in Oldham was in need of a refurbishment to create a more usable and versatile space. The space the Salt Cellar had was being wasted and not being utilised to the best of it’s potential.

We transformed the inside space into a large and versatile area, by removing doors and partition wall and Installed Solid Oak doors, frames and partitions. We maximised the use of the vaulted ceiling and ensured that it became a key feature of the new refurbishment. We also installed LED lighting throughout the building to ensure high-quality light and to emphasis integral design features.

Leesfield completed the entire project from the LED installation to removing partiction walls.
