LEESFIELD Limited never set out to make dreams come true. But that is exactly what it did for Royton resident Denise Freer who had experienced an exasperating search in her quest for the perfect conservatory. As soon as she set foot in the Shaw Road HQ, in Derker, which also serves as a state-of-the-art showroom, she saw her heart’s desire. Newly built to house the admin hub of this growing family business, the Leesfield Limited showroom is a living, breathing example of the high-quality products and craftsmanship the business offers.

When Denise spotted its modern orangery design with its light and airy lantern roof, she dared to dream it could be part of the extension she and her family planned for their home. After months of approaching much bigger firms, she had been told time after time they couldn’t cater for her specific requirements. Transformed But seconds after stepping through the door at Leesfield Limited, joint owner and contracts manager Eddy Benedek said he could grant her wish, “no problem.” Weeks later, Denise’s home has been transformed by Eddy and his team who have created her “favourite room in the house” and built on a stylish decking area to give the Freer family the perfect place to dine, entertain and — most of all — enjoy.

She said: “When I approached the bigger firms to get a quote for a new orangery, the prices were so high that the representatives were trying to get us to by what they wanted to build, i.e. some version of a conservatory for less money, which in no way bore any resemblance to what we actually wanted. “From the outset, Eddy asked what WE wanted, listened to our ideas and made practical suggestions to enhance our vision; and what he has achieved is exactly what we had imagined and more for the budget we had in mind. “It is great dealing with a family-run firm with Eddy at the helm and Vicky and Chelsea in the new showroom always available to help.

“We made a few adjustments and enhancements as we went along, which Eddy was amenable to all the way through, in fact, making suggestions of his own to help make our dream orangery become a reality. “It has given us an extra living area which we can use all year round. As we now have two growing teenagers in the house we don’t all have to be in the same living room all the time. “Eddy suggested bi-fold doors which on sunny, warm days can be opened out to let the outside in, which has made a massive difference, and I am looking forward to family barbecues during the summer. “It is always difficult having builders in and living in a building site for weeks on end, but Eddy made the three months it took as easy on us as possible by being available when needed, extremely approachable and project managing it from start to finish.

“A big thank-you to Eddy and his team for making our dream orangery a reality and I would have no hesitation in using Leesfield in the future …Eddy, however may feel differently!” Eddy, who has over 30 years’ experience in the home improvement industry, said it had been very satisfying to fulfil the Free family’s vision. “Denise came in to see us after reading about us in the Chronicle,” he said. “She’d been told she couldn’t have what she wanted by loads of other bigger firms because they are more rigid in what they offer and don’t cater for the individual’s needs and requirements.

“We specialise in that and are happy to offer our customers a very personal service and work with them on what they want. “She was absolutely over the moon that not only could we tailor-make an orangery for her property but also do it cheaper than other firms had quoted for similar work.” Approved installers Leesfield Limited’s showroom at 20 Shaw Road, Derker, next to Bradbury Bathrooms, is the perfect canvas to show off the high standards of products and workmanship you can expect from them and it’s perfectly located to call in to and discuss your requirements. It features both conservatory and orangery roofs, underfloor heating, the latest window and door trends and an outside decking area.

There you can see firsthand how a Leesfield conservatory could look on your home; you can also browse through their brochures featuring the latest looks in composite, patio and French doors, windows, fascias and soffits, all of which are supplied by the best manufacturers in the industry. They also have samples, including a range of the very latest composite decking which not only looks like the real wooden thing, it doesn’t require any maintenance and lasts for years. The firm is now also approved installers of Rockdoor, the leading manufacturer of composite doors, after Eddy says they were approached directly to become suppliers. The Leesfield Limited team are also proud of their long list of commercial contracts with recent work including Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre, Café Istanbul, in Bridge Street in the city centre, and Oldham’s Salt Cellar restaurant and resource centre, in Church Lane.

AN Oldham firm is fast gaining a reputation for stylish interiors and restaurant refits thanks to a window of opportunity landing contracts to fit out contemporary city centre venues. Leesfield Limited, based in Shaw Road, is already renowned for supplying and installing superior conservatories, windows and doors. But as word of their craftsmanship and the ability to turn design dreams into reality gathers pace, they have been involved in some exciting Manchester and Salford projects.

Leesfield Limited has just finished working on the interior of independent Italian restaurant and pizzeria Vero Moderno based in the regenerational “Vimto Gardens” development, on the Chapel Street corridor, in Salford. Owner Beppe Piccoli approached Leesfield Limited after work on other Manchester venues caught his eye. He signed up the team to deck out his new restaurant which is part of exciting redevelopment plans centred around the original Vimto site set up by Noel John Nichols in 1910.

They are responsible for Vero Moderno’s ultra urban chic restaurant interior and bar area. Contracts manager Eddy Benedek – who runs Leesfield Limited with wife Vicky – said: “We were contracted by Beppe as he had seen the work we had done on completing a jazz room and new entranceway for Café Istanbul, on Bridge Street. “The building was a complete open retail unit without services and utilities.

We were contracted to supply and install all amenities and design, along with Beppe, the internal layout for this restaurant.” And Beppe couldn’t be happier with the stylish finish which is helping to put his incredibly popular eatery – which is gaining rave reviews – on Manchester’s culinary map. “I am extremely happy and satisfied with Leesfield Limited,” said Beppe. “Eddie and his fantastic team have done a wonderful job with Vero Moderno. “It wasn’t an easy one as I leased an empty shell unit, so many unforeseen hiccups came along the way but Leesfield were always there for me; from the fit out team to the ladies in the office. They went the extra mile for me and always with a smile. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!”
